Wiley Parades Around Pakistan!

I like the fruit and vegetables a lot better in Pakistan than in America because they are fresh. You can tell the difference in taste when you bite into the fruit. The apples are so much juicier, the oranges so much sweeter. I really like that these foods aren’t processed at all, and are actually 100% natural.

Me and my uncles and aunts and cousin and mom were on our way to watch Kong: Skull Island in the theatres. On our way, we saw Quaid-e-Azam’s tomb (he was the founder of Pakistan). It was really fascinating because we saw it at quite a large distance, but it still looked so huge. I wasn’t able to get a picture of it, but this is what it looked like:

We have a magnet of it at home. I thought it was going to be big before i saw it. But I had no idea it would be as massive as it is. We weren't able to go next to it in the trip :(

I also saw many very old buildings. My mom said that these were probably over 100 years old. No one can live in them because the houses are too weak, but at the bottom there are various mini shops open for Pepsi, and fast food. I think it’s really cool because these buildings were were made when Pakistan wasn’t even a country; they were made when India was one whole country that took up India and Pakistan. At the time, India was ruled by the British, so these buildings are that old. They were built by the British. I’m not sure why they haven’t been restored yet, though. There are many buildings that I saw that were old like that.

This is where food is almost always sold. On stands called a “bazaar” or market. This is where we get fresh fruit (like, straight out of the ground/tree/vine), vegetables, fresh meat, and fresh eggs (straight from the chicken).

Check out more images from my trip in the photo gallery!
