During my trip to Paris, I experienced the most amazing things as well as encountered beautiful architecture. The overall excitement was intense, and I was most excited to see the Eiffel Tower. Everything we did in Paris was over the top, in a good way of course, but everything we participated in was prestige.
My hotel was quite large, and resembled entering a mural, with walls trimmed in gold. I could barely remember to take pictures while standing in awe in front of the many landmarks, as they were beautiful. Many of the things I saw, I was completely unaware they were located in Paris. I learned quite a lot about the history of Paris, while enjoying the luxuries. Though it seemed the same, the dynamic was quite different. Schools started late and ended early, and dinner was eaten at eight. I went to the top of the Eiffel Tower, Sacre Coeur, and the famous arch, and in each, I was more amazed by the exhilarating city.
The city was almost symmetrical, all surrounding the Eiffel Tower. I also saw many famous artworks, such as the Mona Lisa, which was much smaller than I had believed. I am grateful that I got to experience this once in a lifetime trip, and wish that I could share it with everyone, as picture to not suffice for the beauty and wonderfulness of this country. During my stay I also took a guided tour to The Beaches of Normandy. The history of this place is sombering, and yet an amazing experience. I learned all about World War II, and got to go into bunkers, and go into large gun stands. The artillery was absolutely breathtaking, and bits of exploded guns could be found hundreds of feet from the point of impact. Overall there were beautiful sights and I got to experience the lovely culture.
